Abstract

This study is an observation-based investigation into the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an management model at IQRO Palangka Raya Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. The school follows a salafiyah Islamic boarding school model with a sorogan model characteristic of classical learning. Additionally, it participates in an equality program organized by the government. The research focuses on the effectiveness of the tahfiz Al-Qur'an management model in producing proficient Al-Qur'an memorizers locally and nationally. Using qualitative descriptive methods, the study employs observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results reveal the effective planning of tahfiz Al-Qur'an activities, emphasizing programs like Tahsin Al-Qur'an for students needing improvement in Qur'an reading skills. The organization of tahfiz Al-Qur'an activities demonstrates cooperation in task division from top leadership to teachers. Effective implementation is seen through grouping students into classes for Tahsin and Tahfiiz, while effective control involves daily supervision by leadership and teachers, ensuring progress in memorization and practice.
